Grow Roots is a conceptual plant brand that reimagines how people receive and care for plants by focusing on growth from the very beginning. Instead of fully matured plants, the brand offers prepackaged cuttings and newly established plants, creating a more personal, hands-on experience.

The Grow Roots logo visually communicates the brand concept through a leaf emerging from a box, symbolizing packaged plants and early-stage growth. The mark reinforces the idea of nurturing something from its beginning, aligning with the brand’s focus on propagation and newly established plants. Paired with the name and tagline, the identity emphasizes the relationship between the user and the plant as an ongoing process rather than a finished product.

Each package includes everything needed to successfully grow the plant—individual care guides, propagation instructions, multiple soil mediums to choose from, plant name tags, and small tools for planting. The packaging itself is designed as part of the experience, featuring a structured carrier that holds three pots extending from the base with handles at the top for easy transport. This approach transforms plant ownership into an interactive process, reinforcing the brand’s message of care, patience, and growth reflected in the tagline, “Thanks for planting me.”

The photography explores the brand through a more lifestyle-driven, aesthetic lens. Featuring a model wearing branded apparel within a greenhouse environment, the imagery emphasizes mood, atmosphere, and brand identity rather than product functionality. This approach helps position Grow Roots as both a plant brand and a broader visual identity.

The mockups demonstrate how the Grow Roots identity translates across multiple touch points. This includes instagram posts and story, bagging, a business card design, and a mobile app interface. Together, these applications showcase a cohesive visual system that extends from physical materials into digital spaces, maintaining consistency while adapting to different formats and user interactions.

The poster design serves as both an educational and visual brand piece, showcasing multiple plant genera through detailed illustrations and structured layouts. Each genus is accompanied by a brief description along with key care information, including lighting needs, watering frequency, and difficulty level. The combination of informative content and engaging visuals reflects the brand’s mission to make plant care more approachable and accessible.
